Arizona artist Suzanne Klotz instituted multi­cultural art programs for artist, educators, professionals, and youth in South Australia
(Aborigines), West Africa, Mexico, Taiwan, America, Israel and Palestine. In 2004 and 2005 she won Pollock-Krasner Foundation Fellowships and a Puffm Foundation grant for socially relevant art. Her work has been exhibited internationally in over 300 exhibitions since 1972. In 2008, Klotz will have a solo exhibition entitled Hung Out to Dry at the new Chandler Center for the Arts. The Canopy is typical of her mixed media works filled with minute detail and chaotic situations that defy ordinary explanation.
